The Breakfasts...
One of the very special experiences in a bed and breakfast stay is the anticipation of the first meal of the day. You will awake to the aroma of freshly perked coffee and sizzling bacon. Fresh fruit and homemade muffins and breads served with homemade jams will start your breakfast. The hot entrŽe changes daily and will always be a pleasant experience. One day it may be roasted portabello mushroom caps stuffed with ricotta scrambled eggs served with sun-dried tomato yogurt sauce on the side; the next, stuffed French toast with fresh strawberry sauce and pan seared ham slices. And for our diet conscience guests we offer yogurt and a variety of cereals. We can always accommodate special diets with advance notice. All you have to do is come downstairs and enjoy the friendly conversation with our guests as they gather around our dining room table. We will do the rest! A perfect way to start an exciting day of activity here in Maine-ranging from vigorous sightseeing and hiking to lounging around on our decks and porches and just enjoying. We Invite You...

They provide great opportunities to visit area museums or curl up with a book from our extensive library. For those interested in antiques, Newcastle is noted as Maine's haven for the knowledgeable collector. Many quaint shops attract both enthusiasts who are just looking, as well as, the serious professional. History buffs can roam through the area and experience aspects of American History rarely included in text books. Traverse the back roads and hamlets of Lincoln County - where many decisive events of the 17th and 18th centuries took place.
