Do you have a passion for cooking? Join us the week-end of April 18-19 or May 16-17 for some hands on fun in the kitchen. You will work with Chef David Atwater, owner of "Just Atwater and Stir Catering". He will guide you through a hands-on Saturday afternoon of cooking classes; then enjoy the fruits of your labor at a candle-lit dinner on Saturday evening. Week-end includes wine and cheese conversation Friday evening with Chef David, special discount coupon for dinner Friday evening at The King Eider Pub, classes Saturday culminating in dinner that evening and a complimentary copy of "New England Bed and Breakfast Cookbook".

Have you ever seen a puffin?

Would you like to see a puffin AND save 15%?

Join the Hardy Boat Puffin Cruise and you will see puffins. The 1 - hour cruise with an Audubon naturalist leaves each day at 5:30 from New Harbor. You will observe the Atlantic puffin at Egg Rock where they nest and spend a brief part of the summer. Almost driven to extinction, these interesting birds are making a remarkable comeback due in large part to the Audubon Society and Project Puffin.

After returning to the wharf, go upstairs to Shaw's Lobster Pound an enjoy a fresh seafood dinner while overlooking the fishing boats anchored at New Harbor.
